Operation ASHA wins the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards 2013”, organized by Department of Hospital Administration, AIIMS, New Delhi and Centre for Health Systems Innovation, Oklahoma State University, USA.

India development Marketplace, World Bank- 2013

The India Development Marketplace 2013, which is administered by the World Bank, awarded $100,000 grant to Operation ASHA to Implement eCompliance in Jharkhand’s Tribal Regions to treat and prevent normal tuberculosis and turn the tap off on Multi-Drug Resistant TB.

Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award 2012

Operation ASHA is the winner of the Health-Care IT category  in this year’s Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Awards. It was also covered in The Wall Street Journal’s print editions on 16th Oct.

Top 100 NGOs of the world in 2013 by The Global Journal

Operation ASHA has been ranked amongst the Top 100 NGOs in the world by The Global Journal in the 2013 edition of the magazine’s annual ranking.

eNGO Challenge 2012, Manthan

OpASHA won the Jury’s Distinction Award for using Internet, Mobile and Social Media for Creating Awareness Around Tuberculosis and was chosen as one of the finalists for its Innovative Methodology of Providing Tuberculosis Treatment to the Disadvantaged in the eNGO Challenge organized by Manthan in Dec, 2012.

Stop TB Partnership: Coordinating Board

Election to the Coordinating Board of the Stop TB Partnership, an affiliate of the World Health Organization (WHO). As a member of this Board, OpASHA represents NGOs from the developing world.

United Nations

  • Operation ASHA was considered one of the most successful examples of “public private partnership” and included in a list of 11 such organizations in a UN Publication released ahead of the Special Session of the UN General Assembly in September 2010, to discuss the progress on the Millennium Development Goals of Eradicating Disease and Poverty.
  • In June 2011, OpASHA was invited to attend the United Nations High Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS at the UN headquarters in New York.
